..Occasional Care

Occasional care is occasional sessional care for babies, toddlers and children under preschool age.

The aim of the program is to:

  • Provide families with access to sessional occasional childcare, supporting children not already accessing other early childhood education and care programs, including preschool, long day care or family day care.
  • Enable parents to participate in a range of activities including non-work and casual work commitments.
  • Promote young children’s development and learning by increasing access to a high-quality early childhood education and care program.

Note: A parent can book in occasionally or have a regular booking which will depend on numbers enrolled. It is not guaranteed a child can be enrolled every week or on the same day each week. Occasional Care is max of one session per week depending on availability.

Sessions provided by age group:

Over 2 years old (prior to starting preschool)

Occasional Sessions:
Monday 8:45-11:30am or 12:00-2:45pm
Tuesday 8:45-11:30am or 12:00-2:45pm
Friday 8:45-11:30am
(A maximum of one session per week)

Under 2 years old

Occasional Sessions:
Friday
8:45am to 11:30am
(A maximum of once per week)

Occasional Care Fees

Concession card: $1:50 per session payable at the time of booking. No concession card: $5:00 per session payable at the time of booking. .
* There is a discounted rate for siblings. Fees are charged based on bookings not attendance.
